Practical aspects of holography are then covered (including optical systems, light sources, and recording media), as are the production of holograms for display, colour holography and computer-generated holograms. This book is a great overview of all the different methods of using and making holograms. It has extensive references. It assumes the reader has a mathamatical background. I refer to it more than any other holography book in my library.
